OUR LATE KING
King George used to tell children when they came to Sandringham House for a special prize, how, when he wns a boy, his grandmother, Queen Victoria, gave him a Bible and she advised himto read a chapter every night. “1 have always done it wherever I have been except that during a bad illness I could not,” he had continued. “Now you do. as you like, but If you make that a rule of life, I don’t think you will regret it when vou come to my age, and you have a long way to go.”
