BOXER ACQUITTED

Charge Against Firpo BUENOS AIRES, March 12. Luis Firpo, former contender for the heavyweight boxing title, was acquitted by the Court to-day on a longpending charge concerning a fraudulent real estate transaction. After the indictment the boxer fled to Uruguay, where ho grew a dense, beard for disguise, and remained in hiding for several months. Tiring of exile he returned to face the charge and won vindication.
