The East Coast Airways cancelled the 9 o’clock flight from Napier to Gisborne yesterday morning owing to adverse weather conditions. The plane flying from Gisborne on the first morning flight experienced very had visibility, and was compelled to’iohow the coast line for the majority of tho distance. Visibility was limited to less than 500 yards. A good book, a good light, and good vision; but be sure of continued good vision. Do not strain or tire your eyes needlessly. You cannot replace them. B. M. Bennett, Consulting Optician, Napier.
