£3,000,000 Emigration Fund LONDON, March 1.3. A fund of £3,000,000 is being raised *»y the council for German Jewry to finance a scheme of emigration of Jews from Germany at the rate of 20,000 to 25,000 every year during the next four or five years. Leaders of American Jewry have undertaken the responsibility for twothirds of the sum. It is desired to raise £1,000,000 in Britain, half of which is already in sight. Sir Herbert Samuel, Lord Bearsted, •nd Sir John Simon have appealed to the Anglo-Jewish community for the remainder.
