Undergraduate’s Walk (Received 14, 2.15 p.m.) LONDON, March 13. Winning about £3OO in wagers by the feat, Mr. John Alastair Timpson, a second-ycar undergraduate, trotted on blistered feet to the front gate of Trinity College, Cambridge, and shook hands with the headporter in fulfilment of a bet that he would walk the 106 miles from Cambridge to St. Paul's, London, and back in 24 hours. Ho ■won with a margin of 58 minutes.
