MINISTERS’ ASSOCIATION

A talk on Christian mission work in China was one ot the features ol the December meeting of the Napier Ministers' Association. The speaker was the Rev. J. Thompson, of China, who lor the past 22 years has been engaged on mission work of inland China Some most illuminating facts were given and much appreciated. During the discussion of the association's business it was announced that in connection with Sunday school work in Napi.r, the Rev. L. B. Burlield, of Auckland, is to lecture during this week in Napier and Greennieadows Arrangements are well in hand lor an open-air service on Christmas Sunday at 2.30 p.m. It was also decided to assist the local Bible Class Leaders’ Fellowship Group by drawing up a leadership training course for 1936, all ministers of the association co-operat-ing.
