HASTINGS PLUNKET SHOP

The Hastings public is reminded of the “shop” and jumble sale to be held in Market street, adjoining the Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ building, by the Plunket Society, next Saturday. The committee will be very grateful for gifts of clothing, books, produce, flowers, plants, cakes and sweets. These may be left at the Women’s Rest.

No efforts artr being spared to make the “shop” an unqualified success, and it is hoped that the public will respond generously to this appeal for such q worthy object. Mrs A. R. Greenwood, Duart road, Havelock North, is the secretary of the society.
