H.B. PRESBYTERY
The Presbytery of Hawke’s Bay will celebrate its seventieth anniversary on Thursday, December 12. A thanksgiving service will bo held in St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Napier, that evening, when the speakers will be the Moderator of the General Assembly, the Rt. Rev. H. H Barton, M.A., the Dean of Waiapu, and the Rev. J. A. Asher, 8.A., formerly minister of St. Paul’s Church. The Moderator will visit Waipukurau on Sunday, December 15. and will preach in St. Andrew’s Church in the evening, to mark the seventieth anniversary of the congregation. The service will ho followed by a social hour in St. Andrew’s Hall, to welcome the Moderator.
