McLennan Cup
On Saturday a team from the Napier Club, Buckley, W. Fulford, Smith, Plested (s), visited tho Wairere green and succeeded in winning the Boar Buttons from Shepherd, MeKechnie, Stocker and Sinclair (s), by scores of 25 to 16. At the 16th lead the scores were 16 all, but from then onward Wairere failed to move from its total, Na pier meanwhile adding 9 points. The Omarunui Club will be tho next challengers.
