M.C.C. Defeats Queensland TAIL-ENDERS COLLAPSE By Telegraph—Press Assn —Copyright. BRISBANE, Dec. 3. Marylebone defeated Queensland by an innings and 106 runs. Christy made a dour tight to avoid an innings defeat, but, excepting for O'Connor, he was given little assistance by the tail-end-ers, giving Marylebone the best win of the tour. Doubtless they are an improving side. The matches here will be good practice for the New Zealand tour. Baxter in this match proved a class bowler who will probably come here again. The visitors’ fielding needs tuning up. Scores:—
