Mr. Barnard and Napier Seat FINAL ASSESSMENT The final assessment of votes recorded by electors of Napier in the recent elections has now been completed by the returning officer, Al r G. G. Chisholm, and the exact majority gained by M> W. E. Barnard over his principal o' ponent, Mr F. B. Logan, is 4057 vol--After th e recount and the assessmCt of postal and absentee votes, Mr L ir ' nard gained 7290 votes and Mr Lo, an 3233.
