MEAT AGREEMENT
Ministers’ Work Appreciated The following resolution was passed with acclamation at the annual general meeting of shareholders of the Hawke's Bay Farmers’ Meat Go., Ltd., held at Whakatu:— “That this annual meeting of shareholders of the Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Meat Company, Limited, of Whakatu, desire to place on record their deep sense of gratitude to the lit. Hon. Mr Forbes, the lit. Hon. Mr Coates, and Mr T. A. Duncan, for their outstanding successful and indefatigable work on behall’ of the whole of* the meat producers of New Zealand, nt the recent London meat conference Their united services hnve been beyond value expressed in terms or in cash and we desire to pay them our earnest tribute of exceeding goodwill and grateful thunks.”
