Election of Members
(British Official Wireless.) (Received 17. 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, Sept. 16
At this afternoon’s meeting of the League of Nations Assembly at Geneva the election of three non-permanent members of. the Council in replacement of Czecho-Slovakla, Mexico and Poland took place. This morning Poland had been given the right to ask for reelection. Ecuador and Rumania were the other two candidates. Rumania received 50 votes, Ecuador 45 and Poland 42.
