Members of the Hawke’s Bay Rivers Board gave consideration this morning to tenders received for the new Brookfields bridge. The board agreed upon a tender, which was forwarded to the Public Works Department for approval The new bridge, which will be over 900 feet in length, will be started at an early date after the approval of the tender and will take some ten months to build.
