CARD PARTY
Last Friday evening at the Clive Grange School a most delightful “500” card party was held. Although the crowd was not as large as anticipated, there was a very good attendance. In one room, which was heated by a huge log tiro, the card tourney was held, while in the adjoining room a dance was held. After the playing of ten games the winners of the cards were as follow: Ladies. Mrs Bowen 1, Miss Thomson 2; men, E. Hague 1, G Reeves 2 After a delightful supper everyone joined in the dancing which was continued tdl well after midnight. 1 The school’s credit balance should benefit considerably.
