Australia’s smallest aeroplane is being constructed under a house in the suburb of Clayfleld. The plane is only ten feet long, and is a singleseater of the low-wing monoplane type. It has a wing span of 20 feet. It will derive its power from a motor-cycle engine, and is expected to give a top speed of 100 miles an hour, with a radius of 300 miles on a petrol consumption of gallons an hour. AVhen assembled, the plane will weigh about 3501b5.
The designer and builder is Mr. N. Lynch, a young New South Wales aviator.
