FORTHCOMING SALES

The Farmers’ Co-operative Organisation Society of N.Z. Ltd., under instructions from Mr T. Hogan, will hold an unreserved horse sale on Tuesday, June 25, on the farm Hastings road, Matapu. The animals to be offered comprise five rising two-year-olds by “Blue Peter,” and eight foals, unbroken, eight rising three-year-old.-,, eight rising four-year-olds, 3,5, and 6-year-olds, four 7-year-olds, three mares in foal to “Blue Peter,” 2 aged mares, and 1 aged gelding, all broken in. They will also offer with slight reserve, one pedigree mare, in foal to “Isle O’Mali,” one pedigree mare in foal to “Blue Peter,” one-rising three-year-old filly, one stallion “Blue Peter”. Mr Hogan is prepared to give a trial with every horse. The auctioneers state that they have inspected these horses and can recommend them as being one of the best offerings submitted for some time. Messrs de Pelichet, McLeod and Co., Ltd., will offer at the Stortford Lodge sale on Wednesday, June 26, on account of Mr Jas. A. Macfarlane, “Glenaros”. 420 2-tooth ewes (S.D. rams March 8). Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd. will I offer at the Stortford Lodge sale, on Wednesday next, June 26, on a<> aecount of Mr 11. L. Shield, Wai-v.-henua. 63 weaner P.A. steers. These are the tops out of a line of 120 steers, and the high quality of Waiwbenua cattle is well known.
