273 Strokes for 72 Holes LONDON, June 20. At the Gleneagles golf tournament Percy A Hiss, with an aggregate of 273 ior 72 holes, won the first unofficial Scottish open championship. This is tho lowest score ever returned in a first-class tournament. AUiss returned a final round of 66, a course record. Bousson returned a score of 277 and was second, and Burton 279 wae third. The ‘'Daily Telegraph” says: Alliss’s feat of 72 holes in 15 under fours over a (jtXXI-yard course is an astonishing achievement. His last round, 10 under bogey, is extraordinary, as he only once holed in a single putt.
