All interested in the musical play which is to be given under the direction of Mr. A. Stanley Warwick for the Hastings Players should note the first meeting will be held in the Tea Kiosk at tho racecourse on Monday next at 7.30 sharp. The greatest qualification is keeness, and as the play is exceptionally tuneful and affords much scope for good fun, those who take part are assured of a happy time, but the players only want those who will not mind working to join up. The music, although very pretty, is easily learned, so need offer no bar to those who may, perhaps, be doubtful of their capabilities in that direction. There is an exceptionally strong backing of competent musicians to assist, so a really fine performance should result. Mr. K. H. Bayliss will be pleased to give any further information. A “catastrophe decline of activity” in Germany’s toy industry is reported from Thuringia and Northern Bavaria.
