Mr. Archdall’s Retirement NOT DUE TO ILL-HEALTH By Telegraph—Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 21. “I have only one thing to say about myself, and that is that my resignation was not due to ill-health,” said the Rev. H. K. Archdall, retiring headmaster of King’s College, at a farewell luncheon tendered by the Anglican clergy. Archbishop Averill had just concluded a long speech referring to the clergy's sorrow at Mr Archdall’s illhealth, and the hope that tho trip to England would restore him. Mr Archdall, in replying, thanked the speakers for their remarks. He did not speak of himself until the end, when he said, “I have been trying to get away front this fellow Archdall. The only thing that 1 have to say is that my resignation is not due to illhealth. ’ ’ There was a moment of silence whet Mr Archdall sat down,
