HASTINGS HARRIERS
Run at Havelock To-morrow Alembers of the Hastings Harrier Club will have a trial run to-morrow from St. Columba Hall, Havelock North, at 2.30 p.m. As the club championship will be decided at the racecourse on Juno 29, to-morrow’s run will be good training, and tho runners will be divided into packs as follow:— A Pack.—C. Wright, G. Ready, A. Hunt, B. Andersen, G. Spurdie, S. Coles, G. Warden, L. Holt, 11. Cooper, R. I’oppelwell. B Pack.—A. Lee, D. Robertson, AL Cameron, L. Spurdie, N. Chapman, A. Fear, W. Apperley, I. Snadden. O Pack.—A. Robertson, L. Webb, K. Dane, C. Duff, D. Wright, C. Elphick, AJ. Cohen, L, Tayler. The trail-layers will be H. Marshall and J. O’Shea, and the course will be over about five to six miles. In view of the approaching club and provincial championships, all members are urged to attend. In conjunction with the club championships next week will be run the second Angus Cup sealed handicap race. In the evening, to celebrate the championship meeting, the Hastings club will hold a dance.
