OLD-TIME DANCE
There was again a good attendance at the Premier eld-time dance and card tourney held m the Premier Hall on Wednesday night, and the management provided the usual excellent evening's entertainment. Delightful music was supplied by Mrs Hearn's Premier orchestra, while supper extras were played by Mr L. F. Tayler. The duties of 31. C. were again capably carried out by Mr J. Keith. Several novelty dances were included in the programme, a balloon dance greatly enlivening the proceedings. The waltz competition was won by Mr and Mrs Cyril McNab, while several luckynumber prizes were also awarded. In the card-room the results were as I follow: Ladies, Mrs Learmont 1, Mesdames Cheers, Kbbett and Jobey (tie) I ■-’: men, Mr Clarke 1, Mr H Hearn, 1 Snr., 8.
