Economics and Disarmament
(To the Editor.) Sir,—Mr Stanley Evans s suggestion that those who differ with aim are brainless or “twisters ot political thought” shows the complete futility of carrying on a discussion. Those who believe in being ready to defend their country against possible attack may be quite as honest in their opinions as u Mr Evans, but he says they are mere tools and implies dishonesty also. Hiw view of the League of Nations and ite policy is merely dogmatic assertion, ft is useless to discuse any subject with one who writes in that strain.—. Yours, etc., N.Z. WELFARE LEAGLE. June 18, 1935.
