Hastings Club’s Meeting The Hastings Amateur Athletic aud Cycling Ulub will again be holding another of its popular iortnigiitly meetings next Tuesday at Nelson rara. A special feature ot the programme will do the women’s relay. Inree ul the members of the relay team were at the New Zealand chainpionsiiips unti weie success! ul in winning the event and breaking the New Zealand record. There is alto a possible visit oi the women’s relay team from Wellington. They have a challenge entered ior the Eteveneaux Cup, and at present the .secretary is negotiating ior a suitable date. A programme has been da awn up to suit all competitors, both in the running and cycling. In the field events there will be the popular hop, step and jump and shot putt. These two field events have proved very successful tins season, which speaks for itself, as this club has always been lacking in this branch of sport. Do not forget to be present on Tuesday.
