CHRISTIE CUP TENNIS
Manawatu v. Hawke’s Bay Given fine weather, the Christie Cup tennis match, to be held to-morrow on the courts of the Hawke’s Bay Lawn Tennis Club in Faraday street, should provide some very fine tennis. The challenging team, whose personnel is not yet available, arrives from Palmerston North by car to-night and will be privately entertained. The matches will begin at 10 o’clock to-morrow morning and should be completed before 5 p.m. Players are asked to be at the courts at 9.45 a.m. sharp, in order to ensure a punctual start of the games.
