TRENTHAM TRACK WORK Final Gallops for To-morrow VISITING HORSES TRAINING (By Telegraph—Preu Association.) WELLINGTON, March 15. With moot ot the visiting horse* nor on the sceue, there was a plethora oi short work at Tientbam thia morning, but the majority ot it may not have been instructive. The outside vt the course proper was principally used, and it provided exceptionally last going. The plough was not watered overuigh# as usual and was also ia*t. The weather was line with a strong wind down the straight. Unless otherwise indicated, the gallops were on the course proper. Pegged Exchange ran three furlongs on the plough in 35, stretching out well. Silver Bing, ridden by L. Ellis, went very smoothly over five furlongs in 1.1, the last half being done la 47 3-3. _ Hustle and Variant did an easy mile in 1.46, coming home over the last half together in SU. Hunting Scene and Round Up sprinted half a mile comfortably in 50. Burnish showed to advantage in besting Lunulus by a length over half a mile in 46 4-3. Red Manfred bettered this alone in running the distance la 46. Cuddle ran awav from Lady Spy to record 49 for tffiu half-mile. On the though Rulanut, who stiff looks potsioly a shade pretty, beat Pomp by a length over five furlongs in 1.3, the last half-mile taking 49. Palm was much too speedy in the early stages for Silver Sight over seven furlongs, being six or seven lengths dear at the half-mile, which was reached in 47, but Silver Sight was closing up at ths finish, the full distance taking Gay Blonde found Sporting Blood a good mate over five furlongs in 1.1, the last hull being done m 47 1-5, but the filly appeared to be going the better at the finish. Colossiau beat Aiguille over six furlongs, the last half being done iu 49 2-3. Count Willonyx drew attention to hi» Trial Plate claims by beating Royal Dash and Sturma over half a mile in 48. Legatee, going off at a canter, ran half a mile in 49 2-3. Severe and Entail came home from the five-furlong coiner in 1.0 2-5, the filly pleasing more. From the same mark, Plato beat Kotou by a head in 59 4-5. Heritage went six furlongs alone in 1.15|, the last half occupying 48 3-3. Plato and Heritage race on the second day. Plato is a terv attractive looking colt, and he should earn some dietinc’tion for himself later on. Fulojoy beat Gay Sheik by » length in a run down from the half-mil* barrier, but the angle made timing useless. Guarantee ran half a mile m 49 2-5 and Trivet did the same distance easily in 52. Cadland appeared to be going well through half a mile alone m 49 3-5. Most of the local horses and several other visitors did sound pace work only and their times consequently were not ■ instructive. There had been no scratchings for the meeting up till noon today.

The West Australian Turf Club stewards, under the rule dealing with the administration oi drugs or stimulants without permission, disqualified for life B. Merritt, part owner and trainer of the racehorse Jartah Jack, which competed in the Maiden Stakes at Northern. Prior to the race th* horse bolted twice round the course.
