YACHT SIGHTED
200 Miles East of New Plymouth TASMAN RACE COMPETITOR (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI. Alarch 15. Captain Evans, of the Gabriella, which arrived here to-day from Australia, reported to Custom officials Jhat on Alarch 13 at 8.45 a.m. in latitude 38.50 south and longitude 169.14 east the Gabriella sighted a yacht with a white hull, but no name was visible. The yacht was flying a pennant red, white and blue horizontal* The yacht seemed to be making good progress. It is thought to be one of those yachts returning to New Zealand after the Tasman race. The position when sighted would be 200 to 250 miles dim eact oi New Plymouth
