Anne Johnston, of Jackson Heights, Long Island, has gone to Holly woo* as the winner of the picture contest for new screen talent, conducted by Monogram Pictures. She was chosen from over 250,000 contestants from the Greater New York area. Gloria Swanson has strained the arches of her feet, and in consequence has been ordered to wear low-heeled j shoes for several months. I Hollywood confidently expects that j George Arliss will be knighted at the i end of this year.
