Football Club’s Meeting From Our Own Correspondent. TAKAPAU, March 13. At the annual general meeting of the Takapau Football Club held in the Public Library there was a large attendance of players and supporters presided over by the president, Mr R. A. Fraser. A comprehensive report of the past season was read showing that the club had a specially successful year in 1934. The balance-sheet was alto of a highly satisfactory nature, and showed a credit balance ot £36 in the general account in addition to a substantial credit in the injured players’ account. Election of officers lor the ensuing year was as under; —Patron, Mr W. Hobson; president, Air R. A. Fraser; hon. secretary, Mr E. Wylie; lion treasurer, Air J. A. Giant; club captain, Air C. AlcLeod; senior coach, Dr. J. Al. Coutts; senior selector, Air N. Af. Paulsen; junior coach and selector. Mr E. Limpus; managerial committee, Meesrs R. A. Fraser, N. Al. Paulsen, J. A. Grant. E. Wylie, A. Parker and C. AlcLeod; representative on Subunion, Air W. Cuthbertson; delegatee, Alessrs R. A. Fraser, N. Al. Paulsen and W. Cuthbertson. Hearty votes of thanks were tendered to last year’s officers. It was decided to convey to Mr N. C. of having some of the College matches played at Takapau. WAR RELIEF. The monthly meeting of the Takapau branch of the Hawke’s Bay War Relief Association was held last evening in the Public Library. Present: Alcesrs E. F. Stubbs (chairman), N. Al. Paulsen, W. Cuthhcrtfon, J. Caughley, J. W. Cato and G. S White. An apology was received for the absence of Air A. W Cook. Grants made during the month of February were confirmed. Applications were considered in con* mittec, and recommendations made in accordance with the requirements.
