Official Range of Prices By Telegraph—Press Association TIMARU, March 13. Prices at the second wool sale of the season in South Canterbury to-day we'e firm on current rates. A full bench o, buyers operated on a catalogue of 22,158 bales. Station clips opened up well, but those from the plains and foothills showed discolouration owing to adverse weather conditions. Growers met the market fairly well, the ultimate percentage of passings being comparatively small. The chief operators were Bradford and Continental buyers with the Japanese picking up suitable lots. German representatives operated very sparingly. Keen interest was displayed in Merino wools, some of which were the best seen in the district for a long time, and they topped the market at 131'1. Halfbreds reached 12Jd and three-qunr terbreds 9d. The official range of prices is as follows:—
