Ebbett Park

(To the Editor). Sir,—l was very glad to nee a letter in last night’s “Tribune” complaining about the state of Ebbett Park. I must back up “A” in this for although the Maori carvings have been painted the grounds and the swings are, as “A” says, a disgrace. Under the swinge and the slides there is nothing but a dirty hole of mud and water over a foot deep. I have seen sheep, cowe and horses in where there should be children. Hoping there will be a little more consideration shown to the giver of the park and the objects the donor had in view.—Yours, etc., S. MeLEOD. Hastings, Fefe. 19.
