HORSE DESTROYED
Huntique Found Shot in Leg By Telegraph—Press Association BLENHEIM, Feb. 18. The gelding Huntique, which won the National Hurdles last year, was found in a paddock near Waterlea racecourse yesterday with a bone of a hind leg shattered by a bullet. The animal had to be destroyed. Tho manner in which the injury was sustained is a mystery, but empty shells of two .303 cartridges were found nearby.
