She began playing when six How she achieved such perfection is a mystery, as she had had only a few lessons and had not even got a handicap. She plays the final against the 18-year-old Miss Joan Mountford, an experienced player from the North Foreland Club, a nursery of famous players, including Miss Diana Fishwick.
