LEAGUE BUDGETING
Delegates’ Criticism of System
LONDON, September 13.
“The Times’ ” Geneva correspond-, ent states that English and Dominion delegates severely criticised the League’s budgeting. Mr Bennett, a member of the House of Commons, declared that the League was driven to estimate for unineurrable expenditure and estimate as revenue contributions it knew were not being paid, resulting in a superficial appearance of success.
Sir James Parr also deplored the situation arising from non-payment of contributions and urged that measures be taken to deal with them.
