WANTED: A LITTLE NELL
There has been a big response to the recerft wide appeal made by British International Pictures for a fourteen-vear-old girl to play the part of Little Nell in the forthcoming 8.1 P. prodnelion of Charles Dickens’ immortal work, “The Old Curiosity Shoo.” Fa'-h application is being closely investigated, and already one or two llkelv ones have been picked out, and it is more than possible that they will be asked to visit B T.P. and make a test. Walter Mycroft. 8.1. P. director of production. feels that an unknown girl without previous experience would be ideal for the part, although, of course, if a girl who has had acting experience could be found she would stand a good chance of capturing this much sought after role.
