WEDDING
RISTIN-SOUTH. A quiet wedding was solemnised at Napier on August If. The contracting parties were Marion, youngest dauguter of Mrs aud the late Air William South, of South Shields, Durham, England, and Ernest Richard, only sou oi Air and All’s R. Rispin, of Napier. The bride was prettily attired in silver grey pebble crepe, with matching swagger coat, and hat and shoes to tone. She carried a sheath of violets and lily of the valley. Alter the ceremony the guests were entertained at the residence of Air and Mrs Golder, Vigor Brown street. A delightful afternoon tea was served in the dining room, which was most charmingly decorated with spring bulbs, Iceland poppies and violets. The handsome cake was greatly admired. The usual toasts were drunk with musical honours. The hostess, Airs Golder, was at. tractively attired in black elephant erepe .with posy of violets; black nat and shoes. Mrs Rispin (mother of the bridegroom) was wearing a charming frock of mulberry crinkly crepe; hat to match. Amongst the invited guests were:— Mrs Simmonds. Mr and Mrs Mitchell, Misses Rispin (2), Mr and Mrs Gledhill, Mr and Mrs Heyward, Mrs Cunningham. Mr and Mrs Mills, Mrs Gledhill and many others. The happy couple left for their honeymoon in the Waikato district.
