BRADFORD TOPS
Business at Standstill LONDON, August 17. The Bradford tops market is almost at a standstill awaiting the Australian opening. Following are to-day’s quotations, compared with those for previous weeks:—
H. J. Riddell and Co. have received instructions from Messrs Roachs’ Ltd. to sell a largo quantity of timber—some 7000 feet of scantling, including another 1000 feet of short lengths. Also a big quantity of rooliug iron--700 sheets of 8, 9 and 10 feet lengths, skylights, windows, doors, netting, felt, boater board, etc. The public are advised to attend tins sale. The whole of this entry is practically new stuff. The sale will take place in premises at the rear of A. J. Munson’s, 1 leretauuga street, Hastings, on Thursday, August ‘-'3, at 1.30.
