CAR COLLISION IN NAPIER

A collision involving somewhat extensive damage to one car and minor damage to another, but no injury to the occupants, occurred yesterday afternoon at what are known as the “False Teeth ” at the junction of the Marine Parade and Warren street, I Napier. One of the ears, driven by Mr Wilfred G. Wood, caretaker of the abattoirs at Awatoto, was proceeding up Warren street towards the Parade and Awatoto and the other, driven by Mr H. L. Wilson, school teacher, of Marton, was proceeding round the rockery when they came into collision. Mr Wilson’s car, in which Mrs Wilson was a passenger, was the more extensively damaged of the two, its running-board being smashed in and the chassis twisted Mr Wood had with him two women passengers, but all escaped ini' jury. Ihe ear was not at all seriously i affected by Ihe collision, and Mr Wood i was able soon aftei to drive away in it.
