HORSE FALLS ON RIDER
Injuries Not Serious A fortunate escape from serious injury was experienced by Mr K*n Chut* at Tikokino yesterday, when his horto fell on top ot him alter jumping a wjr* fence. Mr Chute giving a lead to another horse which had refused to jump when his mount struck the top wire of the fence and precipitated him from the saddle- The horse crashed and fell on the rider, who was taken to tho Waipukurau Hospital by ambulance. The accident occurred on Mr L. Moorhead's property. Ou enquiry at tho hospital this afternoon it was learned Hitt, the injured man was progressing quite satisfactorily.
