Not Registered in N.S.W. (Received 3. 10.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, May 2. On the eve of his return to New Zealand, after having operated on ths racehorses Deep Respect snd Koda Pen to cure them of “roaring," Dr. W. C. Ring was subpoenaed to attend the Central Summons Court to-day. The information contained in the subpoena deals with that section of the regulations requiring any person to be registered by the Veterinary Surgeons’ Board of New South Wales before practising in this State. Dr. Ring was fined 60/- with 10/costs. His solicitor, in asking that no conviction be recorded under special section of the Act, said that operations were performed solely owing to a lifelong friendship between Dr. Ring and J. T.
