REVERSION TO RUGBY

League Players Reinstated WELLINGTON, May 2, The largest number of applications for reinstatement to the Rugby Union game from Rugby League that the New Zealand Rugby Union has had at one time was dealt with at to-night’s meeting of the management committee. The majority of the 113 applications same Canterbury. West Coast and North Auckland also figured prominently on the list. The secretary, Mr A. E. Neilson, said that he had had a new cabinet installed to cope with the large, number of applications. Among the reinstatements from Rugby League to Rugby Union approved to-night were: —Hawke’s Bay: D. Dowriek, H. Beswick, E. Galgey, N. Girvan, S. J. Hardgrovc. R. J. Hislop, R. E. Smith, J. Skinner and K. R. Boyd.
