Four-Weekly Return (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, April 7. Official unemployment registrations for the four-weekly period ended March 17 totalled 41,407, compared with 41,896 on February 17. Those receiving relief totalled 36,853, as against 37,676. It is estimated that 11,300 on relief were employed on developmental and reproductive work calculated to benefit- the Dominion’s primary industries. The numbers engaged in industrial undertakings whose, earnings are subsidised from the board’s funds also show a decrease from 26,722 to 25,410.
