NAZI MEMBERSHIP
PURE ARYAN ORIGIN Tracing Back to Year 1800 NEW RULING ISSUED (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Received 7, 10.15 a.m.) BERLIN, April 6. The Nazi Party’s supreme court has ruled restricting membership of the party to “German nationals of pure Aryan origin.” Party organisations have been instructed that in doubtful cases ancestry must be investigated back to the year 1800. The infusion of new blood before then was almost impossible, as mixed marriages only began with the Jewish emancipation. The ruling goes farther than the previous Aryan clause, which only disqualified persons with Jewish parents.
