ARMS PROBLEM
Bureau Meeting Next Week MR. R. A. EDEN TO ATTEND (British Official Wireless.) (Received 7, 12-30 p.m.) RUGBY, April 6. Mr. R. A. Eden, Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, will leave for Geneva on Monday to take part at a meeting of the bureau. Questions regarding guarantees are still the subject of exchanges between the British and French Governments. The French views on security were stated in a recent Note, and subsequently further inquiries were address to the Quai d’Orsay. A reply to these inquiries will be in the hands of the British Government to-morrow, and its terms will be carefully studied byMinisters before Mr. Eden’s departure for Geneva. Recent developments in the disarmament situation were discussed this morning at a meeting at the Foreign Office between Sir John Simon and Mr. Norman Davis, United States representative at the Disarmament (Conference.
