BRIGANDS CAUSING TERROR
Daring Escape from Prison CALCUTTA, April 6. Eleven notorious brigands awaiting trial for a village hold-up in Bhagalpur State made a daring escape from gaol at Bhagalnagar yesterday and at present are terrorising the countryside. They tricked the sentry into opening their cells, seized his rifle, shot and severely wounded him, then looted the police armoury, taking eleven guns «nd hundreds of rounds of ammunition, and fled into the jungle
