Library Subscribers’ Meeting At the annual meeting of subscribers to the Taradale Public Library the following members of committee were reelected :—Mrs R. J. Campbell, Miss R. Martin, Messrs W. Jarvis, C. H. Williams, 0. Anderson, 0. McDonald, R. Willis,, and J. Williamson. Messrs McDonald and Williamson were reelected chairman and secretary respectively. Mr J. B. Wainscott was added to the committee, and it was hoped that before long several others would be added in order to lighten the work in connection with the book issue, which was done gratuitously by the committee. It was generally conceded that as the annual subscription is only 8/there should be a much greater number on the subscribers’ list than there are at present. The report and balance-sheet, which were adopted, disclosed a very satisfactory condition in connection with library matters generally. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the secretary for his work during the year.
