BOXING ATTRACTION
TOMMY DONOVAN’S RETURN. GREAT INTEREST SHOWN. The return of Tommy Donovan, the colourful boxer-fighter, to the ring is certainly creating more interest in boxing circles than has been apparent for some time, and the announcement has brought shoals of inquiries from all over New Zealand. Seating accommodation in Napier owing to the lack of a Municipal Theatre, will be at a premium and brings before the public the absolute necessity to urge upon the Borough Council to proceed with a suitable building. Many visitors will bo arriving from outside and the committee lias had to put aside 200 seats so that visitors shall not he disappointed. This leaves only about 800 seats available for Napier and Hastings and patrons will remember that the association used to get an attendance of over 2000, tbc stage accommodating about 000. At the Donovnn-Leckie contest 2300 paid for admission. This will be a greater contest than that one was. Book your seats—there are not many.
