Following is the Government Meteorologist’s summary and forecast for the Central, East, and North-east districts for the 48 hours from 9 o’clock to-day:— Summary: Pressure is still very high over and to the east of New Zealand. A cyclonic depression wm located off the New South Wales coast yesterday, but does not appear to have made any progress eastward. Forecast: Light to moderate variable winds, with east to north prevailing. Weather fair and mild, but with cloud increasing. Seas moderate. HIGH TIDE. (At Glasgow Wharf).
