De Havilands offer to build another Comet ’plane at a cost of £5OOO for Sir Charlees Kingsford-Smith and deliver it simultaneously with those previously ordered by other competitors. The offer is made solely to enable Sir Charles to enter the race on level terms with Mr. Scott and Mr. Mollison.
