DISARMAMENT

Bureau Meets on April 10 (British Official Wireless.) (Received 5, 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, April 4. The Rt. Hon. Arthur Henderson today met M. Aghnides, director of the disarmament section of the League of Nations and discussed the procedure to be followed at the bureau which will meet at Geneva on April 10. It may he found necessary to allow further time for negotiations through diplomatic channels. The bureau has power to grant a further adjournment should it he felt by the great Powers that supplementary efforts have not reached the stage which would enable definite decisions to be taken on the second reading of the draft convention. Mr. Henderson and M. Aghnides leave London on Friday for Paris, and will interview M. Barthou on Saturday before proceeding to Geneva.
